Here at (816) Smoked Que, it is inspired by my granddad, my father-in-law, and my love of seeing people smile when they take a bite of this flavorful meat. My granddad owned a storefront restaurant on the south side of Saint Louis; he also helped build a ton of buildings downtown, including the Arch. Also, my father-in-law was one of the first minority cooks for the Minnesota Vikings and had his BBQ sauce sold in stores in Minnesota.
